Auf vielen Reisen durch seine Wahlheimat ist Patrick Lambertz immer wieder Häusern begegnet, die sich dem typischen Klischee des Schweizer Châlets entziehen. Es sind in die Jahre gekommene Häuser, die von der in der Schweiz seit Jahrzehnten grassierenden Bau- und Renovierungswut gerade noch verschont geblieben sind. Indem er sie vor winterlichem Hintergrund fotografiert, abstrahiert er die Häuser, hebt ihren individuellen Charakter hervor und gibt Ihnen eine poetisch-ironische Aura. Er hebt sie im besten Blossfeldt/Becher-schen Sinne auf den fototypologischen Altar vergessener aber erinnerungswürdiger Schweizer Häuser.
